We hope you can join us for the Opening Reception of our Black & White Exhibition, an all-member theme show where artists were asked to create works of art using only black, white, and shades of gray as their colors. Thanks to a wonderful team of volunteers yesterday, the show is hung and looks fantastic! We hope you can join us in appreciating all of the varied interpretations of black/white. Running the gamut of mediums from photography to charcoal drawings to paintings to sculpture, the artwork for this show has really impressed the AAWS staff and we can't wait to share it with you! Come out tonight and see for yourself ~ the opening reception is free to attend and open to the public. P.S...Delicious hors d'oeuvres will be served!

Hate I missed the opening, but I will definitely see this show! It looks fantastic!

ReplyDeleteYou will have to stop by and check the show out soon - we had a large amount of entries running the gamut of styles & mediums! Black & White remains on our walls through August 27th, and gallery hours are Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, and Saturdays, 10am-2pm. Hope to see you! P.S.
