Amani Bead Night recap

Amani Bead Night took place Friday, July 16th, from 6-8pm at the AAWS main gallery.  A fun night of beading, this event helped raise money for the Amani Foundation to support their work in improving the lives of orphans in Africa.  Sales of Amani Beads were given directly back to the Amani Foundation & a good time was had by all!  To learn more about the Amani Foundation, visit http://www.amanichildren.org/

What: Amani Bead Night

Event Details: Love to bead? Does stringing necklaces with friends sound like a fun way to spend an evening? Then Amani Bead Night is for you! The beads we will be using are hand-made by artisans in Africa, and this event will help raise money for the Amani Children's Foundation. Sales of Amani beads help support the Amani Children's Foundation's work to improve the lives of children in Africa. No charge to attend. Groups of girlfriends welcome. Open to any age.

Cost: Free to attend! Purchase beads to use for your own creative fashionable jewelry. Prices are per bead, range from $3- and up. Bring your own beads to complement, embellish (or trade/share!). Earring wires available to purchase separately. We'll supply the cord and offer simple how-to's, as well as a few snacks.
